3. Translation task: English to Chinese paragraph on traveling in China, visiting the Great Wall, meeting friendly people, and future plans to visit Hong Kong

4. Bilingual presentation: both Traditional and Simplified Chinese character versions provided; candidates choose preferred script and indicate selection

5. Writing skills assessed: appropriateness of informal vs. formal tone, character count accuracy (80–110 for Q1, 130–180 for Q2), relevance to task points, expression of opinions with justification

6. Cultural and practical themes: daily youth life, digital behavior, consumer habits, educational stress, personal well-being, and real-world communication in written Mandarin/Cantonese
