3. interpretation of motives and relationships (Isabelle’s fear, jealousy, rivalry with Cecile), timeline sequencing, theme of public shaming and redemption
4. structure-based reading comprehension (event order, character focus, pronoun reference), and evaluation of character change or reaction
5. creative writing task continuing the story with character development, setting change, or unresolved conflict (cliff-hanger), requiring imagination and clear structure
6. total marks: 50, split equally between comprehension (Section A: 25 marks) and writing (Section B: 25 marks), emphasis on evidence, grammar, and narrative cohesion
