3. Film content interpretation: Foster’s surprising childhood memory, skills used to make the film, surprising octopus behaviour, narrator and cinematographer identification, environmental criticism identification
4. Analytical response: reader opinion on octopus’s enjoyment (Yes/No), justification with quotes, identifying emotional/empathic elements
5. Summary skills: 50-word fact-based summary from film review content (type, narrator, topic, award, first scene)
6. Creative writing: personal film review for school magazine including setting, characters, plot, opinion, planning space, assessment on coherence, structure, language, and tone for 25 marks
