3. Focus on inference: identifying tone, motivation, and opinion (e.g. Mandy’s competition feelings, reasons for liking a film or sport, emotional reactions)
4. Topic variety: public transport, sports, museum visits, school events, competitions, leisure activities, family roles, and student life
5. Vocabulary and structures: everyday functional language, understanding passive information (e.g. “must be accompanied”), correct noun/verb usage from audio
6. General purpose: practice for understanding spoken English in academic and social environments, recognition of key ideas, supportive evidence for ESL students at CEFR A2–B1 level
